Ottawa
  • David Rodriguez, 37, 2961 East 13th Road, was cited Wednesday at 800 La Salle St. for driving on a suspended license and driving without a seat belt. He was released after posting $100 bond.
  • Rebecca Aichele, 18, 808 West Lafayette St., was arrested Thursday at 1440 Columbus St. on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. She was taken to the county jail.
  • Bart Chalus, 36, 2096 East 4th Road, Tonica, was arrested Thursday at 404 W. Main St. on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving under the influence. He was taken to the county jail.
  • James McDonald, 36, Streator, was cited Friday in the 500 block of East Main Street for driving with a suspended license and improper lane use. He was released on bond.
  • Benjamin Fuchsen, 21, 108 West Campbell St., was cited Saturday at home for battery. He was released on bond.
  • Amanda M. Coakley, 27, Peru, was cited Saturday on Route 23 and Catherine Street for driving under the influence, improper lane use and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was released after posting her drivers license and cash for bond.


Marseilles
  • Kyle Sears, 20, of Joliet, was cited Friday at Orange and Bluff streets for improper operation of a go-cart on a roadway. He was released with a notice to appear in court.
  • Heather Sisk, 36, of Marseilles, was cited Saturday in the 600 block of Rutland Street for improper lane usage. She was released with a notice to appear in court.


Sandwich
  • Two women were arrested on warrants from other counties. Amber Poe, 27, 706 N. Eddy St., was wanted on a Kane County warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic offense. Lorena Guzman, 18, 301 Wentworth Drive, was wanted on a Kendall County warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving on a suspended license. Both were released on bond.


Streator
  • Richard D. Kacvinsky, 30, 303 La Salle St., was arrested Thursday at home on two counts of domestic battery. He was taken to the county jail.
  • John P. Mikolajczyk, 48, 404 Richards St., was cited Friday at 1401 N. Bloomington St. for disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer. He was released with a notice to appear in court.
  • Richard E. Longmire, 42, 1235 E. Main St., was cited Saturday in the 1700 block of North Bloomington Street for driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license and improper lane use. He was released on bond.
  • James L. Pierson, 20, and Nicholas J. Huber, 21, both of 124 W. Hickory Str., were cited for criminal trespass and theft. Police said the two men and a 14-year-old male were siphoning gasoline from a truck parked at the Commonwealth Edison substation in Streator. The men were released on bond and the juvenile to his mother.
  • A girl, 13, was processed on a battery charge after she slapped another girl, 12, at City Park on Saturday. She was released to her mother.


La Salle County
  • Linda J. Sutor, 49, 1737 Sierra Trail, Romeoville, was cited Thursday at mile marker 86 on westbound Interstate 80 for speeding 92 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone. She was released with a court date.
  • Ryan Veach, 31, 1321 W. Birchwood Ave., Chicago, was cited Friday on East Eighth Road at North 33rd Road for speeding 78 mph in a 55 mph zone. He was released with a court date.
  • A single-vehicle accident took place Friday on Route 170 at North 2350th Road. A vehicle driven by Karik E. O'Brien, 18, 502 E. Plumb St., Ransom, with passenger Zach Highsmith, 19, 1206 E. Main St., Streator, was northbound on Route 170 when an unidentified vehicle heading southbound swerved into their lane of traffic. O'Brien then swerved onto the shoulder, entering a cornfield and striking a guardrail. Both men were treated by Seneca EMS personnel and released. No citations were issued.
  • Richard M. Young, 55, 611 Forest St., Marseilles, crashed his motorcycle while trying to flee from police on Saturday. Police said Young was in Otter Creek Township speeding westbound on North 17th Road. When deputies attempted to stop him he fled at a high rate of speed until he lost control of his motorcycle at North 15th and East 24th roads. He was taken by Allen Township Ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital in Streator for treatment. Young was cited for speeding 105 mph in a 55 mph zone, fleeing or attempting to elude police, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving under the influence of drugs or other intoxicating substance. He was released after posting his drivers license as bond.
  • Eric J. Gibson, 1822 Walnut St., Ottawa, was cited Saturday for speeding on Route 23 near North 33rd Road. He was released with a court date.
  • Donald K. Leimbach, 48, 1041 Ogden Ave., Naperville, was arrested Saturday near East 2351st and North 47th roads for domestic battery. He was taken to the county jail.
  • Jacey J. Peray, 30, of Plano, was arrested Sunday in Marseilles on Illinois Street on warrants from La Salle and Kendall counties. He was taken to the county jail.
  • Colleen M. Orzech, 39, of Somonauk was cited Sunday after being involved in a hit-and -run accident at 1204 Holiday Drive in Lake Holiday. She was cited for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident to police, failure to stop, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and disobeying a stop sign. He was released with a court date.
