BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP — Tour de Farm, a bicycle ride beginning at the Brookfield Township Hall east of Grand Ridge, will take place from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 12.

The event, sponsored by the Ottawa-Barrington Foods Resource Bank Growing Project, will offer tours of several farms for viewing of livestock, machinery, conservation practices and a wind farm. Car rides are an option, with bike tours of five, seven and 12 miles available.

Pancakes and sausage will be served at the township hall, a Food Resource Bank presentation will take place at noon and the Seneca FFA will offer a petting zoo from 9 a.m. to noon.
