TESCH

Russell Tesch of Flanagan will celebrate his 90th birthday. He was born Sept. 11, 1919, to Chris and Sena Tesch in rural Flanagan. He married Rocella Schlueter in 1941. He served in the Army in World War II. He retired from farming in 1992. He is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Flanagan.

He has two children, Carolyn (Leroy) Fuller of Coal Valley and Dru Busche of East Moline. He has four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. His first great-great-grandchild is expected this month.

An open house will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at his home, hosted by his daughters.
