Richard and Linda (Shearer) Link of Henry will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 12, 1959, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Henry.

Parents of the couple are Lucille and the late Harold Shearer of Henry and the late Phillip and Martha Link of Ottawa.

The Links are the parents of seven children, Brenda (Michael) Mounts of LaPorte, Texas, Rhonda (Andrew) Ullrich of Spring Bay, Richard Link and Darla Oltman, both of Henry, Glenda (Justin) Miller of Chillicothe, Paula (Frank) Stoeger of Lacon and Khanh (Maria) Dinh of East Peoria. They have 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

An open house will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church hall, hosted by their children.
