Nominations for the Illinois Valley Community College-La Salle Peru Oglesby Junior College Hall of Fame Class of 2010 will be accepted through Friday, Oct. 30.

The IVCC-LPO Hall of Fame was established in 2008 to honor the academic, fine arts, athletic or career achievements of alumni and former college employees during their years at the college or in their personal or professional lives.

In addition, the hall of fame recognizes people who may not have attended the college but who have made a significant difference in the lives of students through their service or generosity to the college.

Inductees will be chosen in November and honored Saturday, April 24, in the Cultural Centre. A total of 35 individuals have been inducted the first two years, including world renowned neurosurgeon Robert Spetzler, 20-year college director Francis "Phil" Dolan and La Salle native and former lead partner with Big Four accounting firm Deloitte, William E. Taylor of Winnetka.
