La Salle County
  • Jacob A. Stallings, 19, 2812 E. 2651st Road, rural Seneca, was cited at 1:09 a.m. Monday on North 30th Road near East 28th Road on a complaint of driving 84 mph in a 55-mph zone.
  • Catherine A. Stathis, 25, 1641 Farside Drive, Sandwich, was arrested at 4:54 p.m. Monday at East 2750th and North 4375th roads on complaints of driving 75 mph in a 55-mph zone and driving while license suspended. She was taken to the county jail.


Ottawa
  • Robert R. Walker, 40, Marseilles, was arrested Monday in the 100 block of West Stevenson Road on complaints of driving while license revoked and no insurance. He posted bond.
  • Christina L. Palmatier, 27, Earlville, was arrested Monday at Columbus and Kain streets on a complaint of driving while license suspended. She posted $100 bond.
  • Maria L. Cardenas, 32, 901 First Ave., was arrested Monday in the the 1600 block of Chestnut Street on a complaint of driving while license revoked. She posted bond.
  • Jeffrey Aldrich, 48 and Elizabeth Aldrich, 45, both Wedron, were arrested Monday at Wal-Mart, each on a complaint of retail theft. Both posted $100 bond.


Livingston County
  • Colton R. Lester, 19, Streator, was arrested Tuesday morning at 12th and Otter Creek streets on complaints of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the county jail.


Fire Calls
  • Streator firefighters went at 9:15 a.m. Monday to 614 N. Everett St., where power lines were down.
  • Streator firefighters went at 2:19 p.m. Monday to Fornof Manor, 606 E. Morrell St., for an alarm set off by burnt food. At 8:34 p.m. the same day, they went to Everett Towers, 609 N. Everett St. for the same reason.
  • Streator firefighters went at 5:06 p.m. Monday to 205 W. LaRue St. for a burning violation.
