ILLINOIS VALLEY QUILT GUILD

The Illinois Valley Quilt Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Epworth Methodist Church, 627 Gentlemen Road, Ottawa.

Lou and Doug Tuntland of Cousins Quilting in La Moille will present. They sell Nolting quilting machines. Their presentation will include information on how to prepare a quilt top, batting and backing for quilting in a frame quilting system. Longarm, midarm and hand quilting frames are applicable. They include valuable information to discuss with a professional longarm quilter or hand quilter when you choose to send a project out for quilting. There will be time for guild members to try a Nolting Quilting System. If you"re thinking of buying a longarm or midarm machine, plan to attend this meeting.
