A Streator man faces prison for molesting a teenage female relative last summer on a camping trip.

George W. Blue Jr. pleaded guilty Wednesday to sexual assault, but without an agreed sentence in place. Circuit Judge H. Chris Ryan Jr. is to sentence the 38-year-old Blue at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 9. Blue is in the La Salle County Jail, with Ryan having removed the possibility for Blue to post bond.

Blue is looking at a minimum prison sentence of four years and a maximum of 15 years. Whatever the sentence, he would have to serve at least 85 percent of it. Probation is not an option. Blue is represented by Ottawa attorney Ed Kuleck.

Blue has been in custody since the La Salle County Sheriff's Office arrested him March 3. In La Salle County, Blue had a disorderly conduct conviction in 1997.
