ALLEN

Marian (Olson) Allen will celebrate her 85th birthday. She was born May 25, 1924, on the family farm near White Heath, the daughter of Charles and Grace Olson. She marriedPascal "Pac" E. Allen of Green Valley in June 1948, who passed away in 1997.

Marian has six children, Maribeth of Peoria, Mark (Linda) of Delavan, Kathy (Larry) Tombaugh of Streator, Lisa of Portland, Maine, Tim (Jodi) of Mansfield and Andy (Linda) of Green Valley. She has 15 grandchildren and one deceased.

She taught music in the Deland, Weldon and Monticello school districts and farmed with her husband. She was a choir member and soloist at Delavan Presbyterian Church. Marianenjoys baking, gardening and quilting.

She will celebrate with a dinner party hosted by her children and grandchildren.
