Advanced Medical Transport of Central Illinois received accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services for its compliance with national standards of excellence. AMT recently completed the voluntary review process, which included an application and on-site review by experts in emergency medical services. AMT received a perfect score for the third consecutive time. The Commission is a nonprofit organization established to encourage and promote quality patient care in America's medical transportation system. The commission's standards exceed state or local licensing requirements. Advanced Medical Transport's CEO Andrew Rand stated, "Receiving a perfect score from the accreditation team represents our company's firm commitment to our patients and the communities we serve. We continuously strive to meet the gold standards and we view this accreditation as another step toward excellence. Our team of professionals has been the key to our successful completion of the process. It gives the feeling of prestige and pride to work for an accredited, nationally recognized service. Everyone here played a valuable role in our ability to meet such high standards and I believe it is a stimulus for continued improvement." |
