Two males and a female died early Sunday morning after their Dodge pickup truck turned over several times less than two miles north of Ransom.

One of the victims was identified as 23-year-old Jordan D. Hill, who lived about one mile from the crash scene. The names of the two other victims had not been released as of Sunday night. A fourth occupant of the pickup, a female, was taken to Morris Hospital, then flown to OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria; neither her name nor her condition were available Sunday night.

At 1:33 a.m., La Salle County sheriff's deputies responded to the scene, where they found the pickup had been southbound on County Highway 39, one-half mile south of North 18th Road, when it entered a ditch and turned over several times, ejecting the occupants. The three people who died were pronounced dead at the scene.
