Two males and a female died early Sunday morning after their Dodge pickup truck turned over several times less than two miles north of Ransom.
Print this storyOne of the victims was identified as 23-year-old Jordan D. Hill, who lived about one mile from the crash scene. The names of the two other victims had not been released as of Sunday night. A fourth occupant of the pickup, a female, was taken to Morris Hospital, then flown to OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria; neither her name nor her condition were available Sunday night. At 1:33 a.m., La Salle County sheriff's deputies responded to the scene, where they found the pickup had been southbound on County Highway 39, one-half mile south of North 18th Road, when it entered a ditch and turned over several times, ejecting the occupants. The three people who died were pronounced dead at the scene. |
