Police blotter 11-6-19

Ottawa

Steven C. Vezain, 36, Ottawa, was arrested Monday on the 600 block of Third Avenue on a La Salle County failure to appear in court warrant. Vezain posted $300 and was released with a court date.

Lorenzo Rios, 40, Aurora, was arrested Monday on the 1200 block of La Salle Street on a complaint of driving while license suspended. Rios posted $260 and was released with a court date.

Ryan C. Whitten, 25, Paw Paw, was arrested Tuesday on the 4100 block of Veterans Drive on complaints of driving while license suspended and no insurance. Whitten was released with a court date.

Robert C. Pendzinski, 23, Ottawa, was arrested Tuesday on the 3000 block of Route 71 on a complaint of driving while license suspended. Pendzinski was released with a court date.

Kassandra Carrera, 22, Earlville, was arrested Tuesday on Route 23 and North 32nd Road on complaints of no valid driver's license and no insurance. Carrera was released with a court date.

La Salle County

At 7:25 p.m. Tuesday, police said Cristy Kreft, 42, Seneca, was backing into her driveway at 2464 East 29th Road, Unit 72, when she became distracted and backed into the building at Unit 73. No injuries were reported. No citations were issued.

Fire calls

Streator firefighters responded at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday to 7 Danny's Drive for a furnace issue.

At 4:55 p.m. Tuesday, Streator firefighters responded to 1016 N. Everett St. for an illegal burn report, they also responded at 8:40 p.m. to the corner of Park and Bridge streets for an illegal burn report that was unfounded.
