Ottawa

Travis R. Kruger, 29, Streator, was arrested Thursday at the corner of La Salle and Washington streets on a complaint of driving with a suspended license. Kruger was released on bond.

Mauricio Flores, 45, Ottawa, was arrested Thursday at the corner of Lafayette and Sanger streets on a complaint of driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured vehicle. Flores was released on bond.

Streator

Freddie Walker, 36, Streator, was arrested at 2:27 p.m. Thursday at the corner of Union and Fourth streets on a complaint of driving with a suspended license. Walker was released and given a court date.

Thomas Cook, 48, Streator, was arrested at 6:53 p.m. Thursday at the corner of South Illinois and Charles streets for driving with a revoked license, operating a nonhighway vehicle on streets, trespassing on railroad property and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Cook was released and given a court date.

Streator police responded at 10:59 p.m. Thursday to the 600 block of West Bridge Street for a report of theft. The incident remains under investigation.

La Salle County

Kendra Nauman, 36, Amboy, was arrested at 2:04 a.m. Thursday for driving under the influence and resisting/obstructing a peace officer. She also was cited for improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol and littering from a vehicle. Nauman was taken the La Salle County Sheriff's Office and given a notice to appear.

Fire calls

Streator firefighters responded at 4:41 p.m. Thursday to the 100 block of Meadow Lane for an activated carbon monoxide detector, caused by a problem with a dryer.

Streator firefighters responded at 7:10 p.m. Thursday to the 600 block of North Everett Street for an activated fire alarm caused by cooking.
