An 18-year-old Ottawa man and an Ottawa male juvenile were arrested last week on burglary charges after police said they broke into two garages May 28 in the 1900 block of Ottawa Avenue.

Levaugh M. Roman was taken to La Salle County Jail with his bond set at $5,000, needing 10 percent for release. He was appointed a public defender and is scheduled to appear in Judge Cynthia Raccuglia's courtroom 9 a.m. Thursday, June 27.

The juvenile was referred to the La Salle County Juvenile Probation Department.

Two bicycles and two ATVs were missing from the garages when police responded, but they were found a short distance away. Police determined forced entry was used to get into the garages, according to a press release issued by Ottawa Police Detective Cpl. Marc Hoster.
