Hawthorne Inn is the place to be.
They are very kind to me.
They cook my meals and do my laundry.
I push a button and help comes
to see to my every need.
They even wake me up so I won't miss
breakfast with toast and jam.
I am a real fan of Hawthorne Inn!
But I miss the farm in springtime,
with birds flying in the sky,
tulips swaying in the breeze,
and fragrant blossoming trees.
I miss the oak trees in the summer
that cool and shade my brow,
and the mooing cows.
I love the farm in summer.
It just can't be beat to live in town
with all the loving care.
But I'd rather live in the country
