Ottawa

Michael A. McKinnie, 24, Streator, was arrested Friday on Old Chicago Road on a complaint of driving while license suspended. McKinnie posted $150 bond.

La Salle County

Allen D. Derby, 38, Ottawa, was arrested at 1:01 a.m. Sunday on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear in court on an obstructing identification charge and an Anoka County, Minn., failure to appear in court warrant on a possession of drugs charge. Derby was taken to La Salle County Jail.

Gary A. Sharisky, 52, Streator, was arrested at 2:35 a.m. Sunday at Bloomington and Frech streets on complaints of DUI, improper lane usage and disobeying a traffic control device. Sharisky was released with a court date.

A 16-year-old Oglesby boy was cited at 4:09 p.m. Friday at Route 251 near North 25th Road in La Salle Township on complaints of speeding 104 mph in a 55 mph zone and for having more than the one passenger limit with a graduated driver's license.

Sarah T. Beavers, 49, Streator, was arrested at 7:15 p.m. Friday at her residence on a La Salle County failure to appear in court warrant on a DUI charge. Beavers was taken to La Salle County Jail.

Fire calls

Streator firefighters responded twice over the weekend to 609 N. Everett St. at 7:06 a.m. Saturday and 10:39 a.m. Sunday for alarms set off by burnt food.
