Ottawa

Kate M. Carretto, 31, Ottawa, was arrested Thursday at her residence on a complaint of domestic battery. Carretto was taken to the county jail.

Jessica A. Brady, 22, Ottawa, was cited Thursday in the 1300 block of Ottawa Avenue on complaints of driving while license suspended, no insurance and speeding. Brady was released and given a court date.

Antonio L. Borrego, 25, Ottawa, was cited Friday at First Avenue and McKinley Road on complaints of no valid driver's license and operating a vehicle with expired registration. Borrego was released and given a court date.

Krystall V.S. Oneal, 27, Ottawa, was arrested Friday at Columbus and Main streets on complaints of DUI. Oneal was released and given a court date.

Jerry Janow, 36, Ottawa, was cited Thursday in the 1600 block of La Salle Street on complaints of driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Janow was released and given a court date.

Streator

Streator police responded at 2:42 p.m. Thursday to the 700 block of South Park Street for a complaint of a suspect stealing two trash cans a couple of weeks ago.

La Salle County

Garett Towner, 29, Sheridan, was arrested at 6:31 p.m. Thursday at his residence on a Will County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving while license suspended. Towner was taken to the county jail. Bond was set at $500.

David Gaspar, 33, Mendota, was arrested at 9:11 p.m. Thursday at his residence on a La Salle County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving while license suspended. Gaspar was taken to the county jail. Bond was set at $300.

Fire calls

Streator firefighters responded at 3:15 p.m. Thursday to 111 Spring St. for a fire alarm but was canceled while en route.

Streator firefighters responded at 5:14 p.m. Thursday to 218 E. Main St. for a natural gas odor. Odor not detectable upon arrival.
