Ottawa

Corey A. Parker, 26, Ottawa, was arrested Monday at the police station on a warrant for failing to appear in court for a charge of possessing a controlled substance. He was taken to the county jail.

Jessie L. Bailey, 35, Ottawa, was arrested Tuesday at her home on a domestic battery complaint. She was taken to the county jail.

Kerwin M. Munsell, 42, Ottawa, was arrested Wednesday morning at 115 E. Jackson St. on complaints of domestic battery and aggravated domestic battery, as well as on a Will County warrant for failing to appear in court. He was taken to the county jail.

Kassidy D. Rivera, 25, Ottawa, was cited Tuesday at La Salle and Madison streets on complaints of no valid driver's license, providing a false insurance card, no insurance and driving with registration suspended for no insurance. She was given a court date.

Gregory K. Williams, 52, Ottawa, was arrested Tuesday at his home on a warrant for failing to appear on a trespass charge. He was taken to the county jail.

Jordan J. Casey, 20, was cited Tuesday in the 1100 block of West Main Street on complaints of driving while license suspended and using a cellphone in a school zone. He was given a court date.

Fire Calls

Ottawa firefighters responded at 10:39 a.m. Tuesday to 1781 E. Norris Drive for what turned out to be a false fire alarm.

Ottawa firefighters responded at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday to 900 Paul St. for a fire alarm caused by cooking.

Ottawa firefighters responded at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday to 912 W. Washington St. for a carbon monoxide alarm. They found nothing unusual.

Ottawa firefighters responded at 7:12 p.m. Tuesday to 900 Paul St. for a fire alarm caused by cooking.

Streator firefighters responded at 2:01 p.m. Tuesday to 706 S. Vermillion St. for an illegal fire on the road, which they put out.

Streator firefighters responded at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday to 218 W. Main St. for a report of a natural gas odor in the area. They didn't find anything unusual.

Streator firefighters responded at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday to 606 E. Morrell St. for a fire alarm, but they didn't find anything unusual
