Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln spent their Tuesday morning strolling around Washington Square in Ottawa. The couple was there for the anniversary of the first Lincoln-Douglas debate (Aug. 21, 1858) at that location. Sponsored by the Ottawa Visitors Center, the couple portraying the Lincolns were Carl and Darlene Bedei, of Grand Ridge.
