Sherman "Skip" Hall's family is growing more worried as he remains missing as of Friday night.
The La Salle County Sheriff's Office, along with other agencies such as the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, have searched for him using drones and scent tracking dogs, among several other methods. There have been no leads, according to his niece, Jamie Brewer.
Hall was last seen July 5 taking the dogs outside at his Dayton home. He's a veteran and has PTSD, needing medication.
His family believes without his medication he may be confused or lost. He's 6 feet tall, about 135 pounds with gray hair and green eyes.
A notice went up on the La Salle County Emergency Management Agency's Facebook page on Saturday alerting the public.
Anyone who spots him should call the sheriff's office at 815-433-2161.
"The (sheriff's office) have been the greatest people you could ask for searching for him," Brewer said. "They are searching for him far and wide.
"We just want the community to be aware. If someone sees him, please call."
