FBI seeks 2 suspects in armed robbery at Ottawa bank

A man and a woman robbed Old Second National Bank in Ottawa at 10:10 a.m. Friday.

The man brandished an AK-47 rifle at bank employees, but no one was injured, according to Ottawa Police Capt. Dave Gualandri. The robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The FBI is involved in the investigation with Ottawa police. The bank is at 323 E. Norris Drive.

The man was black, 6 feet tall and 185 pounds, wearing a red baseball-style hat and red shoes. The woman was white and blond with a medium to heavy build. She wore dark clothes and a gray beanie.

The FBI said the pair should be considered armed and dangerous. The FBI is offering a $1,000 reward. Anyone with information should call the FBI at: 312-421-6700. The Ottawa police number is 815-433-2131.
