The La Salle County Stockman’s Association will award multiple $1,000 scholarships at the 15th annual Harvest Rewards and Recognition Banquet Tuesday, Nov. 21. Applications are now being accepted.
This one-time scholarship will be awarded to an applicant who is a resident of La Salle County, or is a member of a La Salle County 4-H Club, or graduated from or will be a graduate of a high school in La Salle County and is 17 to 23 years of age, and meets one of the following criteria:
• The applicant participated in livestock activities in 4-H or FFA and is pursuing higher education.
• The applicant comes from a background of livestock production and is pursuing higher education.
• The applicant is pursuing higher education in livestock production or animal husbandry.
All applications must have a postmark no later than Friday, June 8.
