La Salle native and businesswoman Dani Brzozowski was elected La Salle County Democratic Central Committee Chairwoman at the May 2 organizational meeting, according to an announcement from the party.
Brzozowski succeeds Amy Sipovic Boyles, interim chairwoman.
Brzozowski is a graduate of La Salle-Peru High School and Purdue University.
In addition to serving as the La Salle Precinct 8 Democratic Committeewoman, Brzozowski is a member of the L-P Foundation Board, the La Salle Business Association Board and serves as a volunteer in civic and philanthropic causes. Brzozowski is the owner of Sweet Sadie’s Children’s Activity Center.
She is committed to including all residents of La Salle County and giving everyone the opportunity to participate, according to the party’s press release.
Tom Ganiere, a practicing Ottawa attorney, was elected vice chairman; Thomas Miller, a member of AFSCME Local 2819, was elected secretary; and Jim Conness, a member of Electricians Union 176, was elected treasurer.
