La Salle County

Tyson A. Rogers, 46, of Ottawa, was arrested about 3 p.m. Friday at his residence on a La Salle County failure to appear warrant for driving while license suspended. He was taken to the county jail.

Lolita R. Buss, 22, of Marseilles, was arrested about 1:10 p.m. Saturday near her residence on a La Salle County failure to appear warrant. She was taken to the county jail.

Fire calls

Streator firefighters responded to an alarm at 10:25 p.m. Friday at 609 N. Everett St. Burnt food activated the alarm.

Streator firefighters responded at 4:25 p.m. Saturday to 609 N. Everett St. Burnt food activated the alarm.

Streator firefighters responded at 10:28 p.m. Saturday to an illegal burn in the 200 block of Burnside.

Streator firefighters responded at 10:48 p.m. Saturday to a report of an illegal burn along the Hopalong Cassidy Trail. They found campers had a legal campfire.

Streator firefighters responded at 9:06 a.m. Sunday to a three-car crash in the 400 block of Lundy Street. There was one injury.

Streator firefighters responded at 2:20 p.m. Sunday to an illegal burn at 111 W. Kent St. The fire was put out.

Streator firefighters responded at 4:21 p.m. Sunday to a request to test for carbon monoxide in a home at 212 Chicago St. Nothing was found.

Streator firefighters responded at 4:48 p.m. Sunday to a pole fire in the 900 block of Hall Street.
