Financial literacy program offered at library

As part of a series of workshops on financial literacy, the La Salle Public Library will host a program about retirement from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 10, in the library’s meeting room. Financial adviser Chad Gilbreth will present: “What Happens After the Paychecks Stop? A Retirement Income Primer.”

Gilbreth will discuss how to budget for retirement expenses and sources of retirement income and identify potential risks to retirement income and ways to address them. This program, free and public, is structured to answer audience questions and is not a sales presentation. Seating is limited and a light lunch will be provided. In order to ensure there are adequate refreshments available, registration is required. To register, call Ericka Sprong at 815-780 8440.

The La Salle Public Library is at 305 Marquette St., La Salle. For more information about this program, call 815-223-2341.
