Illinois Irish 10U win another title
The Illinois Irish 10U (17-3) swept their way to the championship of the EPGFA Moms Who Care Tournament, defeating the Bloomington-Normal Girls Softball Association Angels 6-1 for the title. Taylor Heath (home run, two RBIs), Camryn Stecken (double, two RBIs), Tessa Krull (double), Alyssa Zellers (double; pitching win with 0 ER and 12 K over 7 IP), Aubrie Jackson and Emma Mino led the attack.
The Irish made the title game with a 14-0 win over Wedron, 17-0 over the Central Illinois Stars and 10-0 over Wedron.

Landon Sterling struck out 15 over 5 1/3 innings pitched and had a two-run double. Dalton Sliker added a two-run single.
Mason Sterling (3 IP, 8 K) suffered the pitching loss, with Dylan Jenkins striking out six, singling and tripling.
Locker Room 7, Hatzer and Son's 2
Aiden Wilkenson pitched 3 1/3 no-hit innings, relieved by Cody Taylor's 1 2/3 innings of one-hit ball. The two both singled.
Brennen Stillwell had Hatzer's lone baseknock.
Chix 8, Streator Firefighters 0
Maddux Magana pitched the win, Cutler Dutko doubled thrice, Marcus Hunter doubled and singled, and Paxson Thorpe singled twice for Chix.
