OTTAWA SUNRISE ROTARY
Mike Cushing introduced guest speaker Don Damron, vice president of OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Damron gave an update on programs and facilities for the Ottawa and Streator centers. A donation made possible the purchase of a mobile Care-A-Van that will help provide services in the surrounding area of four counties.
The Fox Valley Cancer Center has greatly enhanced its radiation therapy. Professionals are lauding St. Mary of Streator as a model for rural health care. Damron demonstrated technology applications available to everyone to view their records, get information and do research.

Area Rotarians will welcome Rotarians from India for a Friendship Exchange on Friday, June 8. Everyone will meet at Starved Rock State Park. The next meeting will be at 7:15 a.m. Friday, May 4, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in the conference room. Sergeant-at-Arms will be Mike Fuller and Paul Martin. Dorothy Fiesel will introduce the guest speaker.
