Jessica A. Brady, 22, Ottawa, was cited Monday at Burlington Street and Retz Drive on complaints of driving while license suspended, no insurance and expired registration. She was given a court date.

Police took a report Saturday of a hit-and-run that occurred in the previous few days at Jefferson and Pierce streets. They also received a report the same day of a hit-and-run at La Salle and Jackson streets.

According to a Friday report, property was damaged the previous night in the 700 block of Arch Street.

La Salle County

Kayla Myles, 22, Burlington, Wis., was arrested at 9:58 a.m. Monday in the 2500 block of North Bloomington Street in Streator on complaints of driving without a valid license, no insurance and driving 68 mph in a 55-mph zone. She was taken to the county jail, where she was then released with a court date.

Fire Calls

Ottawa firefighters responded at 7:18 a.m. Monday to 1521 Illinois Ave. for a report of a natural gas odor. They detected the odor and contacted Nicor.

Ottawa firefighters responded at 12:09 p.m. Monday to 900 Paul St. for a fire alarm, which was set off by cooking.
