At the April 9 meeting were Doug Bryun, Kerry Caba, Gene Carlson, Joanie Combs, Mick Garrison, Jim Hollenbeck, Bobby Kaminski, Hank Roe, Audrey Sherwood, Kent Terry and Don Weber.
John Zavada, Geoff Franklin and Tasha Curry presented a video and answered questions about the Youth Service Bureau. The club got a firsthand look at the city budget from Marseilles City Treasurer Cheryl Gray, who also provided a program.
The Sound The Alarm program by the Red Cross will be given a big push-off drive on Saturday, May 5. Marseilles Rotary will possibly provide volunteers and lunch. Community members are encouraged to register on the city or fire department websites to get a schedule for installation.
Changes to the Monday program schedule should be given to Terry: April 30, Al Moore; May 7, Bill Kuiper; May 14, Roe; May 21, Sherwood; May 28, no meeting.
Student for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, Andrew Hancock, is scheduled to attend from the club unless he gets edged out by a student who can be there for all sessions. President-elect Brenda Donahue reported on her PETS training. Officers are needed as soon as possible so information can be sent to the District and Rotary International.
