MARSHALL, Wis. — Mary M. (Wood) McDonald, 78, of Marshall, Wis., passed away Feb. 26 in Marshall.
Mary was born July 24, 1939, in Gibbstown, N.J., to Floyd and Elsie (McClerry) Wood. Mary married William J. McDonald on Nov. 27, 1955. He preceded her in death in 1997.
Mary is survived by her three children, William J. (Rebecca) McDonald Jr., of Cedar Point, Mary Jackolyn Wise, of Madison, Wis., and Richard Allan (Cheryl) McDonald, of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Jodi (David) Ricci, Christy (Manny) Colon, Beth Debernardi, John (Randi Tifrea) Adams, Joshua Adams, Angela Wise, Heather Romaro, James Combs, Angie (Chad) Calhoun, Christina (Jared) Arnold, Michelle (Derrick) Gomes and Doug (Nina) Combs. Mary also had 14 great-grandchildren. Mary also is survived by her siblings, Walter F. (Glenna) Wood, of Wasilla, Alaska, Lorraine (Norman) Both, of Marseilles, Jane Keele, of Anacoco, La., and Thelma (Gene) Manley, of Streator; and in-laws, Garnett (Raenell) McDonald, of Utah, Opal McDonald, of Bowling Green, Mo., and Betty McDonald, of Silex, Mo.
Mary was an amazing sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was loved by many.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 28, at the American Legion Hall in Marseilles. Services will follow. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.
