CLUB - Ottawa Sunrise Rotary

President Mike Matteson welcomed guest Todd Conroy and Students of the Month from Marquette Academy and Ottawa High School. Tricia Hanson, daughter of Mike and Michelle Hanson, shared a summary of her Ottawa High experiences and said she plans to attend Loyola University to study Arabic and international studies. Angelina Sandora, daughter of Mary and George Sandora, plans on majoring in international relations with the goal of being in foreign service as a diplomat.

Caitlin Chrzanowski was inducted into the club by Matteson and sponsor Gene Anderson. Chrzanowski is the community relations specialist for OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Gary Robinson won the buck in the pot.

Amber Goff, Sunrise Rotary scholarship recipient at Illinois Valley Community College, thanked the club for the scholarship and explained she had only one more class to complete her associate degree. She plans on becoming a phlebotomist.

The next meeting will be at 7:15 a.m. Friday, April 27, in the conference room of OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
