Seattle Sutton, healthy eating entrepreneur of Seattle Sutton’s Healthy Eating based in Marseilles and Ottawa, recently visited with a La Salle-area women’s group and in the process reconnected with an old business acquaintance.

Sutton was invited to speak to the newly established Women’s Entrepreneurial Networking Group at the former La Salle train depot. The site also houses Perfectly Flawed Foundation, an organization aimed at strengthening communities affected by substance abuse, which was launched in 2017 by Luke Tomsha. Sutton and Tomsha previously were connected through Tomsha’s work at CommonMan Technologies as part of the Seattle Sutton Healthy Eating IT team.

The Women’s Entrepreneurial Networking Group attracts a female membership base from Princeton to Morris. Sutton visited the gathering to share her business acumen and success story about starting a business at 54 years old.
