Police responded at 6:15 a.m. Sunday to the 1100 block of Madison Street for a report of boys going through a vehicle. As a result, they took a Streator boy, 17, to the county detention home on a complaint he possessed marijuana with intent to deliver. Another Streator boy, 15, was referred to juvenile authorities on a theft complaint.
Wendy Lowman, 45, Streator, was arrested at 8:52 p.m. Sunday at Westgate Plaza on complaints of DUI and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Lowman's vehicle had hit a light pole. She was given a court date.

Jonathan R. Smith, 44, homeless, from Colorado Springs, Colo., was arrested Sunday in the 2700 block of Columbus Street on two Colorado warrants for auto theft. He was taken to the county jail.
Carla M. Balcazar, 25, Mendota, was cited Sunday in the 200 block of East Norris Drive on a complaint she was driving while her license was suspended. She posted bond.

Cody Parsons, 25, Streator, was arrested at 10:49 a.m. Sunday at his home on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a shoplifting charge and a writ. He was taken to the county jail.
Jason Barns, 38, Streator, was arrested at 1:11 p.m. Sunday at his home on a Bureau County warrant for failing to appear on a charge of driving while license suspended. He was taken to the La Salle County Jail.
Ottawa firefighters responded at 8:07 p.m. Friday to the YMCA, 201 E. Jackson St., for a fire alarm. They found an alarm in the gym had been pulled, but there was no fire.
Ottawa firefighters responded at 7:22 p.m. Friday to 801 E. Etna Road for a fire alarm. They found the motor in a humidifier had overheated.
