u Anthony Marvin, 26, Sandwich, was arrested Sunday at U.S. 34 and Gletty Road on complaints on DUI, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was taken to DeKalb County Jail.
u A 15-year-old was charged Saturday at South Bloomington and Bridge streets for no valid driver’s license, improper turn and illegal transportation of alcohol. A 15-year-old passenger was charged with curfew violation.
u A resident in the 100 block of East 1st Street reported that on Thursday windows were broken at their residence and property was damaged inside the residence on a previous date.
u A report was received that on the night of Thursday in the 500 block of South Park Street an unlocked vehicle was entered and several small items were taken from the vehicle.
u A report was received on Friday that a residence in the 300 block of South Bloomington Street was entered and cash and other items were taken from the residence.
u Nancy Woods, 82, struck a parking lot retaining wall at OSF St. Elizabeth Hospital at around 11:27 a.m. Tuesday. No injuries were reported.
u Benjamin Akre, 36, Newark, was cited Thursday in the 300 block of West Stevenson Road for driving while license suspended. He was issued an individual bond.
u Bradley Michael Zellers, 37, was arrested Friday on Interstate 80 on complaints of DUI, disobeying a traffic control device, failure to signal when required, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid driver’s license. He posted bond.
u Jacobe Lee Francis, 19, was arrested Friday in the 2700 block of Columbus Street on a complaint of violation of an order of protection. He was taken to the county jail.
u Shannon Matteson, 44, Marseilles, was cited Friday in the 1100 block of West Main Street for passing a school bus that was loading. Matteson was issued an individual bond.
u Streator firefighters responded to an alarm at 4:02 p.m. Friday at 609 N. Everett St. Cooking smoke activated the alarm.
u Streator firefighters responded to an illegal burn at 2 p.m. Saturday at 1008 Maple St. The fire was extinguished.
