Streator

Robert Hertzner, 30, Streator, was arrested at 9:03 a.m. Monday in the 1200 block of Johnson Street on a battery complaint. He was given a court date. Stacee Ashe, 25, Streator, was arrested at the same time and place on a warrant for probation violation. She was taken to the La Salle County Jail.

Xavier Rice, 20, Streator, was cited at 10:06 p.m. Monday at Bloomington and Boys streets on a complaint he was driving while license suspended. He was given a court date.

A report was made at 2:30 p.m. Monday, a delivery package was stolen from a home in the 200 block of Penn Street.

Air conditioning units were stolen from a home in the 200 block of West Stanton Street, according to a report Monday afternoon.

Police are investigating a Monday report of a theft at RP Lumber, 2515 N. Bloomington St.

Ottawa

Martin A. Malagon, 30, Ottawa, was cited Monday at Kain and Columbus streets on complaints of driving while license suspended and no insurance. He posted bond.

Jesus T. Lopez, 18, Streator, was cited on a complaint of failing to give notification after hitting a parked vehicle April 5 in the Blain's Farm & Fleet parking lot. Police said a witness helped them track down Lopez. He was given a court date.

A vehicle driven by Susan E. Johnson, 19, Marseilles, collided at 2:15 p.m. Monday with a vehicle driven by Alyssa White, 19, Marseilles, at Second Avenue and Glover Street. Johnson was cited on a complaint she did not obey a stop sign.

Fire Calls

Streator firefighters responded Monday to 8 Genseke Court for a small fire in the basement. The fire went out by the time firefighters arrived.

Streator firefighters responded at midnight Tuesday to 1408 John St. for a natural gas odor. They found nothing.
