One day a friend asked me to go to church with him
to read the Bible and pray,
And I learned there is a lot more I must do before Judgment Day.
I learned about forgiveness and loving my fellow man.
The Ten Commandments were a good place to begin
and learn how not to sin.
I prayed to the Lord to forgive me for those sins I've done,
And I'll repent for every one.
Thank you, Lord, for showing me those ways,
And that's all I can say.
