The Northmen & Cathy will perform at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Grand Ridge United Methodist Church, 300 Sylvan Ave.
The group is celebrating more than 25 years as a full-time Christian music ministry. They sing several concert dates per year, and share the gospel in venues across the country.
The Northmen & Cathy recently recorded the new project "NOW" at Daywind Studio A, Hendersonville, Tenn. This project is a collaboration of hymns to progressive gospel music of today. The group has had 12 to 40 Gospel music singles and three top 20 songs in the national Singing News charts, along with other national charts.
The trio's lead singer and manager is Alan Godsey from Cincinnati, Ohio. Alan's wife, Cathy, sings alto and plays piano, and is from Marion, Ind. Singing baritone is Brad Luzadder from Marion, Ind. The Northmen & Cathy are a ministry that entertains and uplifts the Christian, as well as reaches out to a lost and dying world to let them know Jesus still saves.
Love offering will be received and at 5 p.m. will be a spring salad Banquet.
