LIVINGSTON COUNTY RETIRED
The Livingston County Retired Teachers Association will meet Tuesday, April 17, at Indian Creek Country Club in Fairbury. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast buffet at 9 a.m. and program and meeting at 9:45 a.m.
The musical portion will be presented by students in the choral department of Prairie Central High School under the direction of Todd Cheek.
Christopher Glick, an AMBA representative, will highlight various types of insurance. Region 7 Director for the IRTA Navana Ahrends will bring information from the state organization that is deemed important at this time. There will be a 50-50 drawing to raise funds for two $250 scholarships.
The deadline for making reservations to eat has passed, but anyone can still come for the program and meeting. Meetings are always open to any retired teacher who lives or taught in Livingston County. Other guests also are welcome.
There are four meetings during the year: Tuesdays, April 17, June 19, Aug. 21 and Oct. 16.
Officers are Marjorie Ehrhart, president; Debbie Davis, vice president; Karen Kehoe, secretary; and Susan Schnell, treasurer.
