Raymond Yanek, 63, of Streator, was arrested about 2:40 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of North Bloomington Street on complaints of DUI and improper lane usage. He was issued an individual bond.
La Salle County
Steven Green, 29, Streator, was arrested about 2:15 a.m. Saturday on complaints of DUI of alcohol and drugs, speeding and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more, at Lincoln and Park streets in Streator. He was taken to the county jail.
Kevin Martinez, 22, of Leland, was arrested about 12:30 p.m. Friday on a Kendall County warrant for delivery or possession with intent to deliver marijuana. He was taken to the county jail.
Noah Boon, 20, of Newark, was arrested about 7:15 p.m. Friday on complaints of driving while license suspended and illegal squealing/screeching of tires. Deputies received a complaint of a vehicle driving recklessly with cans being thrown from the window in the Ottawa area. Deputies located the vehicle near Route 6 and Champlain Street. Boon was taken to the county jail.
Dakota Shaddle, 27, of Somonauk, was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Saturday on a Batavia failure to appear warrant on a charge of shoplifting. Shaddle was taken to the county jail.
Streator firefighters responded at 10:53 a.m. Saturday to an activated carbon monoxide detector at 1109 Madison St. Carbon monoxide was traced to the stove; firefighters shut off the gas, aired out the residence and contacted Nicor.
Streator firefighters responded at 4:02 p.m. Saturday to an alarm at 2322 Eastwood Ave. Burnt food activated the alarm.
