GRAYSLAKE – The Grayslake Area Public Library Foundation’s sixth annual MiniGolf in the Library event will take place Feb. 24 and 25.
Family-friendly competition will be from 1 to 4 p.m. both days, and an adults-only event will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Feb. 25 at the library, 100 Library Lane.
MiniGolf in the Library is sponsored by the Grayslake Library Foundation, an independent charitable organization that solicits, receives and administers gifts for the library’s benefit.
Proceeds from this year’s event will be used to buy equipment for the library’s new MakerSpace.
Greens fees for the family-friendly afternoon sessions are $5 per golfer and include ice cream. Participants must be 21 or older to attend the eventing event, and tickets cost $20. The Vine of Grayslake will host a cash bar with craft beer and wine available for purchase at the evening event.
New this year, the evening greens fees include food tastings from area restaurants, including BBQ’d Productions, Bill’s Pizza & Pub North, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chipotle, Kaiser’s Pub, Lou Malnati’s, Mariano’s, Starbucks, The Shanty, Tina’s Italian Cafe and Twisted Burger.
